Stage director Richard Brunel offers one of the most popular and ubiquitous Verdi masterpieces: Il Trovatore, interpreted by the Lille National Orchestra under the direction of Roberto Rizzi Brignoli. In this dark tale of Spanish vendetta, light is shed on the decisive role of the mother and the lover, the two heroines who drive the action pitting two clans against one another, like the Montagues and Capulets.
