To reach out to the inhabitants of Lomme, a town associated with Lille, the Opera is setting up at the Maison Folie Beaulieu and its environs for a day of musical discoveries and surprises echoing Rossini’s Barber of Seville, presented from 14 May to 2 June in the Grand Hall. The Rossinian verve and the good humour of Figaro set the tone! And to complete the day, the Opera will raise the curtain on the new 2013-2014 season.
