A bitter-sweet comedy, The Elixir of Love presents the tumultuous loves of Adina and her two suitors. Richard Brunel brings to the stage this harmonious mix of facetiousness and touches of sentiment, served by a cast with a fine understanding of the richness of belcanto. Directed by Antonello Allemandi, the Picardie Orchestre reveals all the finesse of this music.
