The second part of “Portrait Platel” presented by the Lille Opera, Coup Fatal offers a natural and exuberant mix of baroque music, traditional and popular Congolese song, rock and jazz. A group of 13 musicians from Kinshasa and the Congolese counter-tenor Serge Kakudji join forces under the musical direction of guitarist Rodriguez Vangama and a high-voltage “cross-overist”, Fabrizio Cassol, with stage direction by Alain Platel.
