WORLD MUSIC
Always remember, behind the word “refugee” there are always living human beings, thinkers and at times musicians. Virtuosos of the oud or the qanoun, from Syria, Iraq or Pakistan, cantors of popular or savant traditions, they have joined the Refugees for Refugees ensemble. Launched in Brussels, this project creates sonic bridges between the interpreters, the countries and the styles, traversing a silk road that has become a path of exile. An encounter that mixes with subtlety and authenticity the talents of exceptional musicians.
