Azmaris,like  the European bards, are considered for their talents of musicians, improvisers and their mocking humor. Deserving representative of the azmaris women, the young singer Selamnesh Zéméné does to sing and to dance every Addis with her repertory of standards of the 70s (" oldies " and " goldies " as Tezeta, Mela Mela), traditional repertory and her own compositions. With the Badume’s Band, she finds the ideal orchestration to place her vibrating voice and remind that the women also have their place in the Ethiopian music.
