Take four tambourines that are among the most representative of world music: the Brazilian pandeiro, the riqq from North Africa, the kanjira from southern India, and the tambourine from southern Italy. Add to that four virtuosos who play these percussion instruments with a unique and generous style and technique that interweaves, engages in dialogue, accompanies and embraces. The result: magic! In a dense forest of percussion suddenly a clearing opens for a voice, the sound of the flute, the twang of the Jew’s harp and the magic vibrato of the clarinet.
