One step, followed by another –what could be simpler than the act of walking? … Well, maybe not so simple after all, Daniel Linehan suggests. For the second creation of his residence at the Lille Opera, the young American choreographer has chosen to explore and explode the mechanical cadence of the footstep, infusing it with a touch of Dadaist spirit.
