The hundredth anniversary of Alwin Nikolais is an occasion to celebrate one of the most important
choreographers of the 20th century. The Ririe-Woodbury Dance Company, the caretaker of his repertoire, pays homage to this artist whose sensationalist approach shook up modern dance, introducing a panoply of colours, lights and visual effects.
