The Cercle de l’Harmonie, under the direction of Julien Chauvin, presents a programme entirely devoted to the sacred and profane music of J.S. Bach. From Köthen to Leipzig, the Kantor’s instrumental oeuvre is represented with the Suite n° 2 for orchestra and the Brandenburg Concerto n° 5, while the programme’s sacred repertoire includes cantatas BWV 35 and 82, performed by counter-tenor Damien Guillon.
